Another marathon happened this past weekend – The London Marathon! It’s one of my bucket-list races, and maybe one day I’ll get to do it.
I’m sure there were loads of Spurs fans running, but let’s highlight two.
The first is Anthony Brian, and you’ll want to learn more about his story here.
The second is Richard Whitehead, who set a record on Sunday!
Check it out:
There are tens of thousands of other runners who also deserve a huge congratulations and special mention. I like to think the marathon as an incredibly rare sporting event. With the exception of maybe 1% of runners, everyone is out there competing against themselves.
It takes a lot to get through the race, and even to the start line. I might have more to say about this another day.
Congratulations to all the runners!
