good morning!
There isn’t too much to hoddle about the day after (well, technically night after) a North London Derby defeat.
But if there is something to hoddle about, perhaps it’s appropriate to write about my love for these two defenders.
I’m, of course, talking about Cristian Romero and Mick van de Ven.
There were two moments that stood out to me during yesterday’s game:
- Romero’s relentless pressing, which finally paid off with his goal. LOL @ David Raya, am I right?
- THAT run by VDV to recover the ball late in the second half. Even the NBC Sports in-game analysts couldn’t help themselves but gush over him.
I was a little concerned VDV hurt himself again after that. Glad he didn’t.
Hate losing. Mondays suck. But at least we had those two moments.
