The fantastic form on the run-in to the end of the season continued as the Eagles brushed aside a lacklustre Wolves side which meant leapfrogging the hosts in the Premier League table.

TEB VERDICT
Once again, this could have been a much bigger scoreline for the Eagles had Michael Olise and Ebere Eze missed great chances in the first half, but two quick fire goals gave the visitors a much-deserved lead at the break.
This was a performance that was never really threatened by the hosts, even with the early loss of Will Hughes to injury. Even when the hosts pulled one back after a lengthy VAR check, Palace just carried on doing what they enjoy doing and scored another to seal the three points.
The much-criticised Dean Henderson pulled off a few excellent saves to keep the hosts at bay but this was never really a contest as Wolves could not deal with the exciting Palace front three, even though the Eagles ended the game with ten men.
Once again, this was an excellent team performance with everyone playing a part, but it truly is a sight to behold with this front three and the way that they link up together.
That makes it an impressive six games unbeaten, with five of them wins and one game left to play. Who knows what the summer holds, and it is certainly exciting times, but we have the final game of the season to enjoy at home to Villa next Sunday where we can get behind the team for one last time this campaign.
POST GAME QUOTES
OLIVER GLASNER
“It was very tough today, we had a little problem coming into the game. We had the injury to Will Hughes after 10 minutes but we scored two really nice goals in the first half. We knew Wolves would try to come back and this is what happened in the second half. We got the third goal. We work very hard as a team. Everyone was here for the team, it was a great effort.”
GARY O’NEIL
“We beat ourselves really in the first half when we gave ourselves a mountain to climb. We started the game well but we allowed Palace to press us high up the pitch. You could feel it in the stadium and Palace started to grow from it. We’ve had an incredible season apart from today. Lots of positives but we can’t keep talking about how well we’ve done. We need to find ways to go about it slightly differently. We have a lot of work done between now and the end of the season.”
