Bayern Munich prevailed in the Frauen-Bundesliga finale on Monday with an emphatic 4-1 victory on the road at Hoffenheim. The Bavarians scored through Carolin Simon (10’), Linda Dallmann (53’), Pernille Harder (83’) and Lea Schüller (90+2’), capping off an undefeated domestic league season to win the league seven points clear of second-placed VfL Wolfsburg.
Hoffenheim managed to pull one back through Fabienne Dongus in the 21st minute to keep chances of victory alive through the second half, but it was one of only two shots on target all game.
