Aleksandar Pavlović burst onto the pitch this season at Bayern Munich, logging 1,434 minutes across 22 appearances. He won over the Bayern faithful with his intelligence and physical play, earning more yellow cards (six) than goals and assists (two of each). By no coincidence, Bayern only lost once when Pavlović played between October and April.
In an interview with Tobi Altschäffl (as captured by @MiaSanMia), Pavlović said that he was hanging out in the Säbener Straße jacuzzi when he earned his official invitation to the German national team for the 2024 Euros this summer.
Pavlović will face some stiff competition from veterans, like soon-to-be-retired Toni Kroos, in order to earn his first international cap for Germany’s senior squad.
“I’m an absolute team player,” Pavlović added. “I’ll give it my all in every session, but of course I hope I can stand on the pitch and get minutes.”
