According to a report from Marca, Bayern Munich and Theo Hernández are closing in on getting a deal done:
The signing of Théo Hernández for Bayern is close to being finalized. The current left back of Milan, where he has had several spectacular seasons, would follow in the footsteps of his brother Lucas, who played for the best team in Germany since he decided to leave Atlético in March 2019 after paying the 80 million clause.
Be that as it may, Théo’s arrival at Bayern could open the door to Alphonso Davies, whose contract expires in 2025 and who has been linked to Real Madrid. If the Bavarian team does not sell the Canadian, the new Bayern coach will have to choose between two of the best left backs in the world, with the possibility of them even playing together, with Davies further forward as he already did at the Bernabéu.
According to Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg, however, nothing is imminent between the parties:
News T. #Hernández | The 26 y/o left back remains a top target for FC Bayern in case Alphonso #Davies leaves the club. Hernández has signaled, that he would be willing to join Bayern in summer – as revealed a few days ago!
➡️ But nothing has changed: No total verbal agreement with Hernández. No negotiations between the clubs. No offer
from Bayern yet
➡️ A potential transfer of TH is prepared. However, there is still no offer from Real Madrid for Davies.

Bayern Munich’s decision to pursue Hernández most likely hinges on what happens with Davies. Until that decision is made, the Bavarians will likely not make an official move with Hernández.
