As expected, former Bayern Munich coach and current German national team boss Julian Nagelsmann brought in some officers from the Special Operations Command to run a special session for the players.
The event was well-received by players and broke up the monotony of team training, which was surely a welcoming experience for the squad:

The national team players had a session with officers from the Special Operations Command today: warming up on the green field with rock music and loud cheering, followed by close combat training on special cushions, going over various obstacles wearing helmets on a special course in the middle of the Thuringian forest, ‘fighting’ each other using police shields, climbing through a shaft onto a 20-meter-high tower and hoisting the German flag, solving a special task with the police.
There was a good atmosphere and the team had fun during the special session. This session was planned by Julian Nagelsmann, who wasn’t there himself, in order to raise the sense of togetherness, communication and sacrifice within the team.
Neuer is back outdoors
Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer was felled by an illness that must have hit him pretty hard, but now the veteran is back on the pitch for the German national team.
Neuer had been late to camp due to his sickness and had trained indoors earlier this week, but used Thursday to get re-acclimated with the outside world of football. Meanwhile, Neuer’s Bayern Munich teammate Leroy Sané only performed an individual workout, as his injuries from this club season are either still lingering or the winger is taking things really conservatively:
