According to a report from Sport Bild’s Christian Falk (in his work for CaughtOffside, as captured by @iMiaSanMia), the midfield plans for Bayern Munich could be shaping up.
Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton is high on the club’s list, but Bayern Munich is also considering Everton’s Amadou Onana:
Crystal Palace midfielder Adam Wharton is said to have been identified as very suitable in the analyses of Bayern. But Max Eberl also has Amadou Onana of Everton on his list. João Palhinha would have had a better chance of securing a move to Bayern if Thomas Tuchel had remained at the club.
Bayern Munich still also has interest in Schalke 04’s Assan Ouédraogo, who might be willing to just stick with the team — and not take a loan back to Schalke as has been rumored — so he can workout with the first team players in Bavaria on a daily basis:
It has been said by those around Assan Ouédraogo that he would accept reduced playing time to take advantage of the opportunity to train with Bayern stars and thus be able to develop further. Ouédraogo can move within the Bundesliga for around €7.5m – a release clause that must be triggered by June 15. Currently, only the Ouédraogo camp is talking to Bayern. However, [Schalke] sporting director Marc Wilmots and squad planner Ben Manga have let the agent know that Schalke would like to loan Ouédraogo back for next season.
