According to a report from Sky Sport journalists Florian Plettenberg, Kerry Hau, and Patrick Berger (via @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich phenom Aleksandar Pavlović has — once again — been felled by an illness.
Like what happened earlier this season with Bayern Munich, the youngster is down and out due a bout with tonsillitis. Because of that, Pavlović will miss Germany’s match on Friday against Scotland:
Aleksandar Pavlović will miss Friday’s EURO 2024 opener against Scotland due to an infection. The 20-year-old is suffering from an infection due to renewed tonsillitis. Pavlović is hoping to rejoin the team after the first game but that depends on his recovery.
Last time Pavlović was downed by the illness, it had a lasting effect. This could be something that causes him issues for the immediate future.
