Bayern Munich it seems has forgotten that it needs to refresh the wing positions, possibly look for a new #10 as Thomas Müller ages and get ready for a possible transition at the goalkeeping position. Bayern Munich also has seemingly forgotten that the midfield might need to be a higher priority than the defense. And yet, this club is going after defenders like there is no tomorrow.
Despite Alphonso Davies supposedly set to renew his contract and a plethora of players who are flexible enough to play across the back-line, the club is looking to sign yet another left-back according to @lequipe via @iMiaSanMia in 22-year-old Rennes player Adrien Truffert:
Rennes left-back Adrien Truffert (22) is one of the names on Bayern’s shortlist for the position. Milan are also interested in the Frenchman as a potential Theo Hernández replacement. Several English and French clubs are keeping an eye on Truffert’s situation as well [@lequipe] pic.twitter.com/OjyIO2mtzB

Well then, this squad planning seems to be a bit haphazard. Might there be a small possibility that Davies might leave after all? It is quite difficult to understand how exactly the combined vision of Max Eberl, Christoph Freund and Vincent Kompany will pan out.
This summer promises to be an interesting one for Bayern Munich fans (and players).
