Bayern Munich legend (can we say that now?) Thomas Müller left Harry Kane a note recently and Kane let everyone in on a few exchanges between him and his teammate. There conversations included the weather and golf. Kane also spoke about his reception in Germany according to @UEFA.com via @iMiaSanMia:
Harry Kane on the hotel note Müller left for him in Blankenhain: “Tommy left me a little note, because they [Germany] were here just a couple of weeks ago. He texted me saying the golf course is great but the weather has not been so good. It looks fantastic, the hotel is… https://t.co/zpOsctySe7

Kane on Müller: “Tommy left me a little note, because they [Germany] were here just a couple of weeks ago. He texted me saying the golf course is great but the weather has not been so good.”
Kane on how he feels in Germany: “It looks fantastic, the hotel is incredible, and to be in Germany is a bit of a home from home. The reception I’ve had since I’ve been at Bayern has been incredible, and ever since I’ve been in the hotel I’ve had some of the staff come up and say hello.”
Does Germany have a soft spot for England? Kane believes so: “I’m not saying they want England to win, but I think they have a little soft spot for us now I’m here, and that’s fantastic.”
Considering the tumultuous phase Bayern Munich is going through, it helps to remember that the captain of England is the starting forward for this club. He was a bright spot in a poor 23/24 season for Bayern and it is hard not to appreciate the Englishman considering how gracious he has been since his move from Tottenham Hotspur.
However, can Kane and England lift an international trophy? Will Gareth Southgate make the right calls? There is a lot that has to be answered and Kane will have to lead from the front to get England to the trophy.
