Bayer Leverkusen ace Florian Wirtz is one of the most sought-after players in the word.
While it remains doubtful that the Germany international will move on this summer, the topic is not even remotely close to being on his mind as he has put all of his effort and focus into the EURO 2024 competition.
“Everyone knows my contract. Now is not the time to talk about that. I’m definitely having a great time in Leverkusen and I feel good. My mind is 100% focused on the Euros. Anything else doesn’t matter right now,” Wirtz told Sky Sport journalist Kerry Hau (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
Wirtz’s contract ends in 2027, but he could fetch a nine-figure offer to Leverkusen as early as this summer. Still, the 20-year-old will not bother thinking about any of that as long as Germany is alive in the tournament.
