Just three years ago, Christian Eriksen almost died on the pitch at the EURO 2020 (actually played in 2021…thanks COVID!) and his career was hanging in the balance.
Now, Eriksen made his return to the tournament in a big way as he scored in the 17th minute to help lead Denmark to a 1-1 draw with Slovenia.

Eriksen is entering the final year of his deal with Manchester United, but he has some more work to do with Denmark before he can even think about that. Given how far he has already come, no one should doubt the 32-year-old’s resolve in finding the next step for his career.
