According to a report from Sky Sport journalist Philipp Hinze, RB Leipzig attacker and rumored Bayern Munich transfer target Dani Olmo has a release clause in his contract that is valid until mid-July.
At €60 million, the release clause does not exactly represent a bargain basement deal for any club trying to get Olmo. Aside of Bayern Munich, both FC Barcelona and Manchester City have — allegedly — shown interest in Olmo:
According to our information, Dani Olmo’s release clause (€60m) is valid until after the Euros. Interested clubs can trigger the clause until mid-July.
If new Bayern Munich head coach Vincent Kompany employs a 4-4-2 formation, Olmo could end up being an interesting target. The Spaniard’s versatility in being able to function in a few different attacking positions could make him a valuable asset for head coach Vincent Kompany to have on the roster.
However, the price does seem to be a bit too high at the moment, though things could change if Bayern Munich sells off a few existing attackers.
