Krüger’s responsibilities with the women’s team:
Former team manager Kathleen Krüger will take on a leadership role in the management of the Bayern women’s team, among other things. Krüger will be supporting Bianca Rech, head of the department, and taking care of the structural direction of the women’s department.
Her responsibilities with the men’s team: “Krüger will also still be involved with the men’s team – for example with the planning of the new training center at Säbener Straße, but she’ll no longer be as close to the team as she used to be.”
Krüger might be able to shape the future of the club considering the responsibilities she has been given. However, considering that Krüger was a former Bayern Frauen midfielder and is used to being close to the action, will she enjoy the off-the-pitch aspects of her new job? Will Bayern adjust well with the new team manager considering how long Krüger has been at the job?
It will definitely be a change for fans not to see Krüger on the sidelines anymore.
