Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich’s future is very unclear in Germany, but there are at least five power clubs who would love to bring in the Germany international.
Arsenal FC, Liverpool FC, Manchester City, FC Barcelona, and Real Madrid are rumored to be serious contenders to land Kimmich:
Sky Sport Germany report that while Kimmich is prepared to enter the final year of his deal with his future undecided, Bayern are open to selling him this summer in order to recoup any sort of transfer fee and it is unlikely that he will be at the club much longer.
Arsenal, Liverpool, City, Barcelona and Madrid are then named as the five clubs that the 29-year-old would consider joining.
It has been said here before, but this feels more and more legitimate. Bayern Munich’s handling of Kimmich has clearly left a bad impression on the player, but there is some room for hope. The 29-year-old loves Bavaria and wants to stay, but it will likely come down to whether or not Kimmich believes in Vincent Kompany’s plan for him — and the team.
Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Çalhanoğlu was reportedly on Bayern Munich’s radar as of early Monday:
Inter are very willing to sell Hakan Çalhanoğlu for an ‘attractive fee’. The Turkish international can imagine a move to Munich. As of now, Bayern have not made an official offer to Inter. Çalhanoğlu would be an alternative for defensive midfield, though with a different profile to João Palhinha.
However, Sky Sport journalists Florian Plettenberg and Kerry Hau (via @iMiaSanMia) are reporting that Bayern Munich no longer has interest in the midfielder:
Hakan Çalhanoğlu is not a hot topic at Bayern, move is unlikely. The name has been discussed, there was contact with his management, but no talks with Inter. João Palhinha remains the priority, but Bayern are exploring other alternatives (including Amadou Onana).
The the midfielder ended all speculation by announcing he was staying with Inter:
Frans Krätzig had a successful stint on loan at Austrian Wien last season and now looks like he is headed to VfB Stuttgart:
Frans Krätzig to Stuttgart is a done deal
• A season-long loan deal with an option to buy of around €5m
• Loan fee under €1m
• Bayern have secured a buy-back clause

Real Madrid is still seriously pursuing Lille’s Leny Yoro:
Real Madrid’s stance on signing Lille’s Leny Yoro has not changed, and the teenager has knocked back approaches from Man Utd and Liverpool already this summer.
Madrid’s pursuit of Yoro could be a hindrance to the club making a worthwhile offer to Bayern Munich for Alphonso Davies.
Manchester United’s Raphaël Varane, who was linked to Bayern Munich during the January transfer window, could be headed to Inter Miami as part of Leo Messi’s growing contingent:
Inter Miami are keen to sign free agent Raphael Varane following his release from Manchester United.
