Joshua Kimmich, one of Bayern Munich’s mainstays, is currently contemplating leaving the club in the near future. A couple of clubs had shown interest in the 29-year-old, but nothing was concrete then. However, the player seems to have come to the realization that he should move; Bayern will talk to him after the EUROs:
A separation between FC Bayern and Joshua #Kimmich now or next summer is becoming increasingly likely. It is a scenario that both sides are open to!
▫️ It’s currently unlikely that the 29 y/o will extend beyond 2025
▫️ Kimmich would be ready to go into the final year of his contract and leave on a free transfer in 2025. Therefore, Bayern are willing to sell him this transfer window with suitable offers.
Concrete talks with Kimmich will take place after the Euros. Still a top player and one of the captains of Germany.

Kimmich famously negotiated his latest contract by himself, without help from an agent. As for the clubs interested in him, FC Barcelona and Manchester City are names in the lead with Liverpool, Real Madrid, and Arsenal FC behind them.
