Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall looks to be on his way out of Leicester, with an agreement said to be close to settled with Brighton. Poland international Jakub Moder will be moving the other way as part of a deal that would possibly see Leicester receive £25million.
A medical for Moder is said to have taken place, but if Leicester decide to listen to Chelsea and their supposed offer, said to be in the region of £40million, no player exchange will be seen.
We have earlier said that life at Leicester will continue as usual. A sale of a major player before the 1st of July would surely see the club closer in reach of a balance with FFP and PSR.
So who is Jacub Moder?. He played 17 league games for Brighton this season, coming back from a year of absence due to an injury. He has so far played 26 times for Poland at full international level. The 25 year old midfielder was part of the Poland squad that was knocked out in the group stages of Euro 2024.
Moder came on as a sub in the first two games vs. Austria and Holland, both defeats, but was given a starting position in their last match vs. France, ending 1-1, surely a player with quality.
This would be a good addition for Leicester, and it could be happening even if KDH decides to join Chelsea. Leicester then have to pay Brighton the valued fee, said to be in the region of £15million. Moder was back in 2020 signed by The Seagulls for £6million for Lech Poznan, so they would of course also make a good profit on this move if it goes through.
