Bayern Munich has extended the contract of Arijon Ibrahimović through 2027 as announced by FCBayern.com:
FC Bayern have given Arijon Ibrahimović a new professional contract until 30 June 2027. The 18-year-old attacker, who has been with the German record champions since 2018, spent last season on loan at Frosinone Calcio in Italy’s Serie A and will be part of head coach Vincent Kompany’s first-team squad going forward.
Ibrahimović moved to the FCB academy in summer 2018 from 1. FC Nürnberg. He scored a total of 28 goals in 52 competitive appearances for the U-17 and U-19 teams. He also played 11 games for the reserve team in the Bavaria Regionalliga, scoring four goals, and has made one senior appearance to date. He made 18 appearances in all competitions for Frosinone and scored twice. After nine goals in 12 games for the German U-17 team as well two in eight for the U-18s, he earned his first call-up to Germany’s U-19 side last year.
Sport Bild’s Tobi Altschäffl reported on the news before the official announcement (via @iMiaSanMia):
Arijon Ibrahimović has signed a new deal at Bayern until 2028 today. The youngster is planned for the first team squad in the coming season. Vincent Kompany wants to have him involved in pre-season. Christoph Freund fought hard to keep the player.
3 + 1 new deal for Ibrahimovic. Contract until 2027 with an option to extend it until 2028.
Ibrahimović will be hoping to breakthrough into Kompany’s rotation this season.
