The EURO 2024 Round of 16 concludes today. Join us as we follow the action!
Romania vs. Netherlands (12PM EDT)
Bayern Munich defender (for now) Matthijs de Ligt is in the Dutch squad but does not feature under Ronald Koeman. Potential Bayern signing Xavi Simons does…and it may be a good chance for fans of the Rekordmeister to witness the man in action. The Dutch are favored heading into this one, but never say never in the knockouts.
Austria vs. Türkiye (3PM EDT)
Ralf Rangnick looks like a man who has found himself a better gig than worrying about being the next Bayern Munich head coach this summer. The German football coach has installed a clear, disciplined, and pressing identity into an Austria side that looks like a strong contender to go deep, if not all the way. Türkiye won two of their group stage games but got smacked 3-0 by a Portugal side that, as of yesterday, looks unconvincing. They’ll have to step it up a notch to get past the Austrians.
