There is a lot of moving and shaking on Bayern Munich’s campus these days. Let’s take a look at the latest movement…
Bayern inks top, young Italian attacking talent
Bayern Munich recently signed 17-year-old Italian attacking talent Guido Della Rovere from Cremonese (source — FCBayern.com):
FC Bayern has signed the Italian attacking talent Guido Della Rovere. The 17-year-old comes from Serie B club US Cremonese to the German record champions, where he has signed a long-term contract. Della Rovere will live in the boarding school on campus, but is scheduled to play for the second team in the Regionalliga Bayern.
Jochen Sauer, Director of Youth Development & Campus : “We have been observing Guido for a long time. We see him as a great talent in his position in his age group, so we are happy that we were able to convince him to join us despite many interested parties. We believe in his further development potential and are pleased that he will soon be playing for our amateurs in the Bayern jersey.”
Della Rovere made 20 appearances for Cremonese’s U19 team last season (5 goals / 8 assists) and made his Serie B debut in early May in a 3-0 win against AS Citadella. He last played for the Italian junior national team in spring 2023.
Lawrence leaves Bayern
Towering center-back Jamie Lawrence has left Bayern Munich to join Austrian side WSG Tirol (source — @fcbayerncampus):
Central defender Jamie #Lawrence is leaving #FCBayern and moving to Austrian first division club WSG Tirol. In the past two seasons, the 21-year-old was loaned to 1. FC Magdeburg.
Zvonarek leaving for Austria
Lovro Zvonarek put in a strong season and even scored for the first team in 2023/24 and is now headed to get further seasoning at SK Sturm Graz (source — Sport Bild’s Christian Falk):

Kabadayi to Augsburg
Yusuf Kabadayi spent last season on loan with Schalke 04 and now could be headed to FC Augsburg permanently (source — Fabrizio Romano):
Augsburg have signed Yusuf Kabadayi from Bayern, deal in place also with medical being completed.
Four year deal, fee over €1m add-ons included as @altobelli13 reports.

Hülsmann headed to Austria, too
Towering Bayern Munich goalkeeper Tom “Ritzy” Hülsmann is off to SKN St. Pölten (source — FCBayern.com):
New sporting challenge for Tom “Ritzy” Hülsmann. The 20-year-old goalkeeper of the Bayern amateurs will be loaned to the Austrian second division club SKN St. Pölten for the coming 2024/25 season. Hülsmann is expected to make the leap into professional football at the club from Lower Austria. His contract with FC Bayern runs until June 2026.
Jochen Sauer, Director of Youth Development and Campus : “Last season, Ritzy demonstrated his talent as a goalkeeper in our second team. He also trained regularly with our professionals. We are convinced that he is now ready to take the next step in a professional league and that he will find the best conditions for this in St. Pölten. We will closely monitor his development there and wish him all the best.”
Hülsmann came to Munich from Eintracht Trier when the campus opened in 2017 and has since played in all of the Bayern youth teams. The keeper, who is over two metres tall, played a total of 29 games in the Bavarian Regional League, keeping a clean sheet nine times. Last August, FC Bayern signed him a professional contract.
Rhein leaves Bayern
At one point, Torben Rhein was one of Bayern Munich’s most heralded prospects. Now, though, the youngster is trying to pull his career back together and is leaving Bayern Munich for FC Emmen:
