A big day at EURO 2024 awaits as the stacked side of the bracket all clash in the quarterfinals. The winners of these two matches will meet in next Tuesday’s semifinal.
Spain vs. Germany (12PM EDT)
This is the big one — for Germany fans, at least. Follow along here at Bavarian Football Works as we’ll have full game coverage, including a separate live blog/discussion thread.
France vs. Portugal (3PM EDT)
Which team that might be considered a tournament favorite has looked less impressive? France’s collection of stars cannot seem to score their own goals, but Didier Deschamps at least has them organized in the back — where he continues to call on Bayern Munich defender Dayot Upamecano. Portugal, meanwhile, look shaky outside of the goalkeeper position. Porto’s Diogo Costa saved all three penalties in the Round of 16 shootout with Slovenia, which had ended 0-0.
