A motorist has been rushed to hospital after he crashed into a parked car, ramming it through the front of a £425,000 house that had just been sold.
The driver of a Vauxhall Corsa went straight over a junction on a residential road and onto the driveway of the house directly opposite.
The silver Corsa then smashed into the front of a Dacia Logan Stepway that was parked on the drive, ramming it into the porch of the mid-terrace property.
The crash obliterated the front of the red-bricked house in Bournemouth, Dorset, causing major damage.
The three-bed property had an estate agent’s ‘sold’ sign outside with the owners recently having agreed a price to sell it.
It is believed the driver of the Corsa, a man aged in his 20s, attempted to flee the scene but was stopped by a member of the public who witnessed the incident.

The grey Dacia remained wedged in the front of the house today while civil engineers examined the structural damage to the property.
The Dacia also suffered severe front end damage, with completely detached bumper visible on the ground. It also had a crumpled bonnet and smashed windows.
The car came to a rest on a pile of building debris and a row of bricks hang above it with two uPVC windows on the windscreen.
Yvonne Steele, 80, who lives next door to the property, said: ‘I was watching telly and heard this big bang and I thought maybe the chimney had come down.
‘I looked out the window and realised what had happened.
‘I called 999, they said what service do you require and I said ‘everything, it’s utter carnage in Cranleigh Road’.
‘The homeowner was due to move out next week. She was at the back of the house, she was lucky. She could’ve been coming down the stairs or something it would’ve been much worse. And luckily her daughters weren’t there at the time.
‘He came straight down Stamford Road and went straight across the junction. He hit the wheelie bin and that went flying through the air and then he hit her car and pushed it into the house.
