A report from German news outlet Bild (as captured by Twitter account @iMiaSanMia) states that Sandro Wagner, assistant coach to Julian Nagelsmann at the German national football team, is being targeted by different clubs and will consider offers despite a contract with Germany for the next two years:
Several clubs from Germany and abroad are interested in offering Sandro Wagner a head coach role. Despite a contract until 2026 with the DFB, Wagner could consider club offers. Wagner plays a key role in Julian Nagelsmann’s staff as a communicator with and for the players and was there in all discussions about roles Nagelsmann had with the players. The coach would like to keep Wagner in the staff until the next World Cup.
Coming off elimination from Euro 2024 under highly controversial circumstances, the former Bayern Munich men in charge of the team will need to find a way to make sure that Germany will seep everyone en route to winning World Cup 2026.
