According to a report from Bild journalist Christian Falk, Bayern Munich legend Thomas Müller will retire from international football.
If true, Müller’s decision would end of the storied careers in German national football team history. The 34-year-old was selected to participate in the EUROs this summer and ended the team’s quarterfinal loss to Spain on the pitch, desperately trying to help Germany pull out an improbable win.
Unfortunately for Müller and his mates, it did not happen — and that could have been the final time fans saw him donning Germany’s kit:
