Bayern Munich’s midfield gem from the youth academy, Aleksandar Pavlović is an admirer of new coach Vincent Kompany according to @Bild via @iMiaSanMia. Here is what the German international had to say about the Belgian: “Vincent Kompany was a great centre-back with an outstanding mentality. I’m looking forward to working with him. Everyone knows his goal for City in the top corner [against Leicester]. He’s a real leader.”
It seems like Pavlović is all caught up on his soccer knowledge! Furthermore, while Pavlović has not yet received a call from Kompany, he is looking forward to one according to @iMiaSanMia. More importantly, he knows that his club needs to win trophies and that another trophyless season would simply be unacceptable.
Pavlović on whether Vincent Kompany called him: “Not yet. But I’m looking forward to what’s to come. We have to win titles again, that’s for sure. There can’t be another troohyless season”

It seems that Pavlović knows what the standards at Bayern are. After all, he has really known only one club his entire life, One can only hope that Kompany sees his value and plays him regularly. As we all know, the last player remaining in the Bayern squad to have come through its ranks was not valued by most of the new coaches at Bayern….
