According to a report from L’Equipe (as captured by @MediaParisien via @iMiaSanMia), Bayern Munich made an outlandish bid on a loan agreement with Paris Saint-Germain for star attacker Xavi Simons:
Bayern have taken the lead on the loan of Xavi Simons in recent hours. Both Bayern and RB Leipzig want a loan deal with an obligation to buy. Some sources indicate that Bayern’s offer is worth €90m.
If that number seems insanely high to you, well, you are not the only one. Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg has squashed the report:
It seems as if there is serious interest from Bayern Munich in the Dutchman, but — at this point — nothing is close to being a done deal.
