Bayern Munich wants to add another attacking midfielder to their squad and, while the club has been linked to Xavi Simons, Dani Olmo remains on the transfer list. The Leipzig midfielder was one of the stars of EURO 2024, playing pivotal roles in the quarterfinal, semifinal and final of the tournament. As per @Plettigoal via @iMiaSanMia:
However, Olmo is far down the pecking order when it comes to players Bayern would like to have in the squad. While Olmo has an injury history that might even parallel that of Bayern’s man of glass, Arjen Robben, he is an excellent player with great vision and has been for many years for his Bundesliga club, RB Leipzig. One wonders if Olmo should be higher up the pecking order considering the fact that he is more experienced than Xavi Simons and Désiré Doué, especially at the Bundesliga level. Either way, this saga might continue a bit longer.
