As Bayern Munich’s senior team is experiencing a shakeup with multiple incoming transfers and rumors of high-profile departures, the makeup of the second team roster is shifting as well.
Manuel Pisano, who joined the Bavarians from Juventus in the summer of 2022, is set to join fellow Italian side Como in a deal that includes a sizable sell-on clause along with the right to match any offers the newly promoted Serie A side may receive for the player.
Bayern striker Manuel Pisano (18) is close to joining Serie A side Como on a permanent transfer. Bayern want to keep a conspicuous sell-on clause and, potentially, the right to match future offers, in a move similar to that of Joshua Zirkzee [@LucaBendoni, @DiMarzio] pic.twitter.com/Vj39amz2SS

The Italian striker didn’t have the most prolific stint in Munich as he only managed a goal and an assist in 17 appearances across the handful of minutes he accumulated in the Regionalliga Bayern and U19-Bundesliga S/SW last season.
Given that it doesn’t look like Pisano would’ve been very likely to break into the first team in the upcoming season, especially with the likes of Harry Kane and Mathys Tel in the way, selling Pisano is probably the right move. It’s highly improbable that the club will regret moving on from the player, and if he does find success in Italy the nature of the transfer agreement allows Bayern to benefit from his sale or even sign him back themselves.
