Ahead of the much-anticipated Asia Tour, Bayern Munich play one last preseason friendly in Germany vs Regionalliga (4th tier) side FC Düren. Vincent Kompany is still without some key players, mainly all the ones who participated in the Euros, plus Michael Olise who’s tearing it up for France at the Olympics — but this should still be a valuable opportunity to gauge the team’s preparation under the new manager.
This opponent is certainly a step up from Rottach-Egern. Will Vincent Kompany cook?
