Bayern Munich star Leroy Sané is expected to sign a contract extension in the coming weeks or months, but there have been some transfer rumors linking the Germany international to Arsenal FC in recent days.
One other club who could get into the mix for the attacker is Liverpool FC — at least that is what former Arsenal and Liverpool ace Jermaine Pennant would like to see.
“You need someone with experience to replace Mohamed Salah, like Leroy Sané. For me that would be a great signing, he has pace, he cuts in on his right or left. When he played at the Emirates he was absolutely unreal, he tore Arsenal apart,” Pennant told Coin Poker. “So if he can do that to Arsenal at the Emirates, he’d be an amazing signing. He knows the Premier League with City.”
As of now, it seems very unlikely that Sané moves on, but if he did, Arsenal and Liverpool would seem like the kind of clubs that Sané might consider.
