According to a report from Sky Sport journalists Florian Plettenberg and Kerry Hau, Bayern Munich is looking to loan out winger Bryan Zaragoza, who struggled during Bayern Munich’s 2-1 victory over Tottenham Hotspur in South Korea:
Excl | Bryan #Zaragoza is on the verge to leave FC Bayern on loan WITHOUT an option to buy ✔️
Girona and Valencia are pushing to sign him now.
Max Eberl und Christoph Freund had an open conversation with him. The 22 y/o has little prospect of playing time and should gain match experience elsewhere. Zaragoza originally wanted to stay but now wants to be loaned out.
Bayern bosses will choose the best solution with Zaragoza‘s camp now.
Bayern Munich is overloaded at the wing position, so this does make sense on a few levels — not even including Zaragoza’s struggles. Kingsley Coman, Serge Gnabry, Leroy Sané, Mathys Tel, Michael Olise, and Arijon Ibrahimović are all wingers who could see playing time this season. Moreover, Jamal Musiala and Thomas Muller can also play the position when needed as well.
Not to pile on, but Bayern Munich is closely pursuing Rennes winger Désiré Doué as well. Needless to say, Zaragoza is probably better off taking a loan assignment.
