Bayern Munich star Harry Kane only made a token, 10-minute appearance during his current team’s 3-2 victory over his old team, Tottenham Hotspur.
Playing at Tottenham’s home field for the first time as a visitor since making the move to Germany last summer, Kane admitted that things were definitely…not normal.
“It’s strange coming here in a different shirt and into the away dressing room. I probably shouldn’t be playing today, I only trained yesterday, but it was important for me to play 10 minutes or so,” said Kane (as captured by @iMiaSanMia).
By the time Kane entered the match, it was close, but already partially in the bag as both teams lost focus. Kane, though, expects this Bayern Munich side to be more sharp moving forward — regardless of where they play.
“I think you will see very intense games from us this season, with our players that is the best approach,” Kane remarked (as captured by FCBayern.com).
