According to a report from Footy Headlines, Bayern Munich star Joshua Kimmich could be eyeing up one major change for his career — his footwear.
After almost a decade as a Nike athlete, Kimmich could be taking steps to find a company to work with:
Nike’s staff purge shows no signs of stopping. Recently, Joshua Kimmich was found to have painted the upper of his Nike Mercurial Vapor 15 shoes black, implicitly confirming that he will be leaving Nike after 10 years.
During a recent training session with Bayern München, Kimmich painted the upper of his Nike Mercurial Vapor 15 ‘Mad Ready’ boots black. The move is intended to signal that Kimmich is in the process of parting ways with Nike and may be looking for a new sponsor.
Kimmich has been with Nike since 2015. After almost 10 years, Kimmich is likely to leave Nike as part of the Nike’s cost-cutting drive.

Which company will Kimmich seek to work with next — if he does, indeed, end up leaving Nike?
