Bayern Munich has secured striker Jovana Damnjanović to another contract extension, her fourth with the club. The Serbian international is now signed up to play for the FC Bayern Frauen through the 2026/27 season.
The 29-year-old has been at Bayern since the 2017/18 season and won three titles in that time. Now she’ll have the chance to do three more — and maybe a treble, to boot. Those are her goals, at least, making her well-suited to suit up for a club committed to winning.
“I am very happy to have extended my contract and am really looking forward to the coming period, in which we still have a lot planned and want to achieve. I love the city of Munich and the club. For me, there is no other club I would rather play for,” Damnjanović stated in remarks captured by the club website, FCBayern.com.
Her most recent season for the Bavarians was a good one: nine goals, three assists in the Frauen-Bundesliga alone. Here’s to more of that, and Champions League and DFB-Pokal glory in her and Bayern’s future.
