Bayern Munich’s dreams of getting Bayer Leverkusen center-back Jonathan Tah might be coming to an end per German outlet kicker (as captured by @iMiaSanMia):
Bayer Leverkusen have closed the door to Jonathan Tah leaving the club as he’s considered irreplaceable at this point in the window – not even for a €30m package. The club does not have time to replace him anymore. It is said that only a ‘significantly higher, immoral offer’ could change their position. But Bayern will definitely not make such a high offer.
Sky Sport journalist Florian Plettenberg’s information on the matters seems to correspond with kicker’s report:
Excl | Bayern officially informed Leverkusen today in a phone call that they are ready to pay €20m + €5m for Jonathan #Tah!
… as soon as Kingsley #Coman is sold!
But: Bayer 04 still want to keep Tah. At this stage, he‘s not for sale. Leverkusen have informed Bayern and Pini Zahavi. Reasons: time, no replacement, price. Poker ongoing but a transfer is unlikely at this stage.
If true, where does Bayern Munich go from here?
