Fulham have made a positive start to the new campaign and are aiming for their fourth game unbeaten across competitions when they face West Ham at Craven Cottage on Saturday.
They face a Hammers side who have had a middling start under new manager Julen Lopetegui.
Match Preview
Fulham Recent Form
Fulham started the season with a 1-0 defeat away at Manchester United, but they arguably didn’t deserve to lose that one and only did so via a late winner from Joshua Zirkzee.
They bounced back superbly and beat Leicester at home in the Premier League and then Birmingham away in the League Cup.
Last time out, they earned a 1-1 draw away at promoted side Ipswich.
Fulham Injury News
Silva hasn’t had to deal with many injury concerns so far this season and there doesn’t appear to be any fresh issues coming off the international break. But, players have played a lot of football this week and have travelled long distances so fitness will be assessed closer to kick-off on Saturday.
Last Fulham Lineup
Here’s how Fulham lined up in their last game – the 1-1 draw at Ipswich.
West Ham Recent Form
West Ham are yet to truly find their feet under new boss Lopetegui as they have won two and lost two of their games so far in 2024/25.
They lost the opening game of the season 2-1 at home against Aston Villa, though did subsequently win narrowly away at Crystal Palace.
The Hammers progressed in the League Cup after dispatching Bournemouth 1-0 at home, but then lost 3-1 at home against defending Premier League champions Man City.
Not a terrible start by any means, but they’ll look to kick on starting this weekend.
West Ham Injury News
Alphonse Areola had to be withdrawn in the game against City due to a back injury but he’s had a couple of weeks to recover from that now so should be okay to feature.
Niclas Fullkrug picked up a calf problem on international duty with Germany and has been ruled out of this one.
Aaron Cresswell remains absent due to a thigh injury.

Fulham – Player To Watch
Emile Smith Rowe scored within a couple of minutes of his debut in a friendly during the summer and has kicked on from there really as he looks like he’s been playing under Silva for years already. He’s already off the mark in the Premier League for his new side as he scored in the win against Leicester.
West Ham – Player To Watch
Jarrod Bowen has continued his superb goalscoring form into the new season for West Ham as he’s already scored twice – once against Crystal Palace in the Premier League and the all-important late winner versus Bournemouth in the League Cup.
Fulham vs West Ham – Prediction
At the moment there doesn’t appear to be a lot between the two sides so this one may end up as a draw. This is despite Fulham being much the better team last season as they won 2-0 away and 5-0 at home.
Different season. Different teams.
