West Ham have exclusively responded to Hammers News on claims technical director Tim Steidten is unhappy at the club.
West Ham finally got a morale-boosting home win in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Julen Lopetegui era finally has lift-off after three home defeats thanks to the 4-1 win over Ipswich Town.
But the press seem determined to continue to push the negative narrative around Lopetegui at West Ham.
The latest being The Sun and a claim that technical director Tim Steidten is not best pleased with the situation.
According to the tabloid’s Matt Hughes, Steidten is angry at ‘being overruled on key decisions’ at the London Stadium including the choice of manager.
Steidten and Lopetegui were backed with £155million on nine summer signings.

West Ham respond to claims Steidten is unhappy over boss snub
But The Sun claims many of Steidten’s targets were missed including Aston Villa’s in-form striker Jhon Duran.
The report also claims Steidten wanted to sign Lille forward Jonathan David but West Ham’s board were unwilling to meet the asking price.
Instead Steidten brought in 31-year-old compatriot Niclas Fullkrug in a £23.5m deal.
Eyebrows were raised about the move due to Fullkrug’s injury record and lack of pace.
Fullkrug has now missed the last five games through injury. And there is no guarantee he will be fit for Spurs after the international break.
SunSport also claimed Steidten put forward a list of candidates to replace David Moyes as manager.
That list, the paper claims, featured new Brighton boss Fabian Hurzeler and Portuguese trio Sergio Conceicao, Ruben Amorim and Paulo Fonseca.
Steidten is said to have pushed for his fellow countryman Hurzeler – who has started well at sixth placed Brighton with three wins and three draws from seven games, including a stunning 3-2 comeback victory over Spurs having been 2-0 down.
But Hughes claims the West Ham hierarchy felt the Seagulls’ 31-year-old boss was far too young.
Now Hammers News have sought some clarity from the top spokesman close to the owners inside the club.

West Ham have responded to claims Steidten is unhappy over the Brighton boss snub.
And the key senior London Stadium contact close to David Sullivan and co has set the record straight.
“That is simply not true,” the spokesman exclusively told Hammers News.
“The Brighton manager is a huge gamble, though he did well yesterday!
“We all decided to play it safe and with experience and particularly experience in the Premier League with Julen.”
It was also put to the contact that West Ham could have done without the international break having just started to find some momentum and rhythm.
“We just hope they all come back fit and well,” the contact added.
“Spurs away will be tough, but we are unbeaten away.”
Although The Sun’s claim has been blown out of the water, two lines of the report were accurate.
That Lopetegui’s position is not under threat.
And there isn’t any tension in the relationship between Steidten and Lopetegui, as was the case with Moyes.
The Scot infamously banned Steidten from being around the first team during the end of his West Ham tenure.
That was after a meeting with Sporting boss Amorim got out into the public domain.
