The broadcast schedule for a busy December is due to be released in the coming days, giving Everton supporters clarity over a busy month of action
Everton supporters will find out their festive fixture schedule and the time and date of the final league Merseyside derby to be hosted at Goodison Park in the coming days. The Blues are currently due to host Liverpool on Saturday, December 7 at 3pm – a slot that will almost certainly be changed in order for the high-profile game to be broadcast on TV.
Unless Everton draw Liverpool at home in this season’s FA Cup, it will be the final Merseyside derby at the Old Lady before the club’s move to its new waterfront home.
And for now, Goodison is slated to hold the visit of Chelsea on the Saturday before Christmas (December 21) and Nottingham Forest the following Sunday (December 29).

Between those home games is a trip to Manchester City, currently scheduled for 3pm on Boxing Day.
Those matches could yet be rearranged, however, as broadcasters decide their own Christmas schedule, which will lead to changes to kick-off times and dates over the holiday season.
Fans should not have to wait much longer before being able to plan with certainty, though. This season, the Premier League committed to announcing fixture changes due to broadcast scheduling no later than six weeks before the start of the month in question.
As a result, December’s calendar is set to be announced in the coming days – with the Premier League working to a publication deadline of October 14.
That means, along with the festive fixture list, Everton will also get clarity over the dates and times of what amounts to a testing December schedule which includes the derby as well as the trip to Arsenal, which at the moment is set for Saturday, December 14.
While the Christmas schedule could change, the Premier League has said that at least 48 hours will separate each round of fixtures.
