The conjecture over Hammers troubled genius Lucas Paquetá and in particular his mental state on arriving back from Brazil after a hugely challenging week has been rife. Gonzo wrote yesterday of the risks associated with picking Paquetá for the tense London Derby, in an unknown state of mind whilst he is embroiled in two separate hearings.
On each side of the Atlantic, Paquetá faces hearings, plus now piled on top the new proactive steps his team undertook yesterday to take the fight to the F.A over their own alleged leaking of confidential details of the case.
It would be easy to worry that Hammers’ number 10 might not be relaxed or in a good place mentally to pull on the shirt.
West Ham United have very pointedly taken to twitter to release their video featuring Paquetá as first in a series of arrivals to training this morning. You can check it out below. One look at the expression of our number 10 is enough to reassure those worried about his current mindset:

It appears he is relaxed, happy and coping well: If I was a Spurs coach I’d be disappointed to see Lucas looking so calm and content ahead of the crucial game on Saturday. Looking every inch the professional, If I were Lopetegui I’d be very happy to select him based on his relaxed demeanour and body language.
Fingers crossed that Mohammed Kudus – rather worryingly not featured in the video – is as relaxed and ready to go upon his own return from Libya!
