Tottenham stewards’ response to West Ham fans’ balloon protest
The Hammers fans took their protests to north London yesterday afternoon.
The performance on the pitch was shocking, so the fans in the away end probably had more fun with the balloons!
In all seriousness though, it is a very important message that needs to be put across to the owners.
However, the Spurs stewards were none too happy with the influx of black balloons inside their stadium.
They came up with a unique way of combatting the sheer number of balloons on the pitch:
I think the balloon protest is terribly important, and we must keep at it as a fanbase.
In general, football fans’ loyalty is being exploited up and down the country these days.
And that sentiment definitely applies to the Hammers fans.
The West Ham fans’ balloon protest would have garnered some real attention yesterday, considering the fact that the game was shown live on TV.
However, the Tottenham stewards clearly took umbrage to it.
