Southampton made it to the fifth round of the Carabao Cup, after beating Stoke City 3-2 of their fourth round fixture at St Mary’s on Tuesday night.
Southampton looked comfortable at 2-0 up into the latter stages of the first half, thanks to goals from Taylor Harwood-Bellis and Adam Armstrong.
But Ashley Phillips pulled one back for Stoke on the strike of half time, with Tom Cannon levelling on the 54th minute.
James Bree struck the winner in the 88th minute to send Southampton through the next round of the cup.
