Bilal El Khannouss (20) is the one to call for Steve Cooper. This signal signing from Genk in the summer must be nursed forward and into this Leicester team as quickly as possible.
Yesterday he came of the bench for second half and helped Morocco to a 7-0 win vs. Lesotho. Morocco was 3-0 up after first half, but his contribution was noticed.
In his two starts for Leicester playing Everton and Southampton, Leicester picked up 4 points and he was playing in an attacking role, also coming very close to a goal, hitting hte post vs. Southampton.
He is that natural offensive midfielder, playing just above two more defensive players in the unit, but at this point we have seen how difficult things have been for Steve Cooper, playing a number of different players in the role we believe El Khannouss should be playing in, every day of the week.

Steve Cooper cannot let this talent dry up on the bench, but he also have a lot of other dilemmas to solve with a group of players not really able to play as much as everyone would have liked week in and week out.
Leicester paid Genk £19million for El Khannouss and that in itself should be a reason to play him week in and week out, being probably Leicester’s most valued asset at the moment.
You can talk about Jordan Ayew and Abdul Fatawu all day long, of course missing them both, after returning from injury from Ghana duty, but still none of them are at the same level of Bilal El Khannouss.
Tom Cannon is currently doing well on loan with Stoke, he scored a number of goals for Leicester last season at this level and of course being pivotal for Preston earlier on, also spending time on loan at Deepdale while on the books of Everton.
