Ruben Amorim is looking to reinforce his Manchester United squad in the January transfer window.
The Portuguese coach has endued a mixed start in Manchester, following his November arrival from Sporting CP, with just two Premier League wins from his first seven EPL outings.
The Red Devils will start 2025 in the bottom half and Amorim has a major task on his hands to revive their stuttering campaign in the coming months.

After previously stating his decision not to bring in players from Lisbon in January, the 39-year-old is still expected to make moves in the mid-season market as he chases players to fit his system.
Amorim is rumoured to be targeting a wing-back and a striker with the latter role particularly important in his tactical set-up.
As per reports from Teamtalk.com, Amorim could launch a double raid on PSG, to try and sign Nuno Mendes and Randal Kolo Muani.
Nuno Mendes and Randal Kolo Muani: Contract latest, potential transfer fee
Mendes is rumoured to be the trickier acquisition, as despite heading into the final 18 months of his contract at the Parc des Princes, the Portugal international is still part of Luis Enrique’s plans.
If PSG fail in a final attempt to secure a renewal, they could look to sell, to avoid Mendes potentially leaving on a free transfer in 2026.
However, United may need to negotiate PSG down to a fee of around £45m ($57m).
Kolo Muani could be a more clean-cut operation, with the French striker making just two Ligue 1 starts in 2024/25, despite Kylian Mbappe’s summer exit.
PSG are prepared to sell the 26-year-old, with Amorim rumoured to have requested a scouting report on the former Eintracht Frankfurt forward, with a loan-to-buy agreement the most likely option put forward in Paris.
