Armando Broja stretchered off while receiving oxygen after unfortunate injury blow vs Peterborough
Everton striker Armando Broja suffered new injury heartbreak late in the FA Cup game with Peterborough United. The forward was stretchered off in the closing stages after being left on the ground following a robust challenge from Emmanuel Fernandez.
Broja, a second half substitute, had skipped past goalkeeper Nicholas Bilokapic after beating him to a ball forward but was then challenged by the Posh defender.
The 23-year-old remained on the turf long after the challenge and received treatment on the pitch before being carried off.

Broja had left the pitch in the first half against Bournemouth at the weekend after suffering an injury in that match but recovered to make the bench on Thursday night.
That had been his second start for Everton after overcoming an achilles injury that the loan striker arrived with in the summer. Everton had signed him from Chelsea on the final day of the transfer window.
