Arsenal could let first-team trio Gabriel Jesus, Oleksandr Zinchenko, and Thomas Partey leave the club in 2025, according to a report.
Craig Hope reports for the Daily Mail that Arsenal’s current focus is on outgoings, with the futures of at least three senior players uncertain.
Hope writes that Arsenal will listen to offers for Gabriel Jesus in the summer, and Oleksandr Zinchenko could even leave the club this month. Thomas Partey is also expected to depart when his contract expires in June.
The report makes no mention of Jorginho, whose contract also runs out this summer. But perhaps that’s because there’s less certainty around his situation, with some suggestions that Arsenal could still offer him a one-year extension.
On Zinchenko, Henry Tomlinson recently reported for The S*n that Inter Milan were preparing a January bid, and they’re not the only club in the mix.
Fotospor claim Fenerbahce have made an enquiry for the defender, and they’ll make an offer if things don’t progress with Inter. For the time being, Fenerbahce are focusing on other signings anyway, so they aren’t in a rush.
But Fenerbahce president Ali Koc recently admitted to the media that they need a left-back. So if the Inter option doesn’t pan out, Zinchenko should become a target for the Turkish club at some stage.
As for Jesus, it doesn’t seem that Arsenal are desperate to offload the striker immediately. The Gunners need the goals at the moment, and with Bukayo Saka out, Jesus can provide cover on the wings as well.
Whether Arsenal bring in significant transfer fees or not, parting with the aforementioned senior trio would free up a lot of room on the wage bill for new signings this summer.
