Tottenham are seemingly frontrunners to sign Davide Frattesi from Inter Milan
There have been consistent rumours surrounding Inter Milan’s Davide Frattesi given his situation at the San Siro Stadium, and Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be one of the clubs interested in pursuing a move for the midfielder.
Simone Inzaghi’s Inter Milan has made game time hard for the 25-year-old, and Davide Frattesi is looking on the outside in search of more game time and regaining his mojo. The Italy international can be the ideal player to add more goals and increase Spurs’ creativity under Ange Postecoglou, given his vision and finishing ability, complemented by the versatility to play across the midfield.
While he has not had enough opportunities at Inter this season, Frattesi boasts a proven record in Serie A and has the qualities to make an instant impact for Spurs. He has scored three goals and assisted once in 22 games this season. Overall, the midfielder’s record in Serie A stands at 20 goals and nine assists thus far.

Now, according to a report from Italian outlet TV Play, Tottenham are ready to offer €32 million for Frattesi, who is also wanted by Napoli and AS Roma. The Lilywhites are seemingly favourites to sign the Italian as he feels the time has come in his career to become a regular starter at a club.
The Roma-born talent finds himself behind the likes of Hakan Calhanoglu, Piotr Zielinski, Nicolo Barella and Henrikh Mkhitaryan in the pecking order under Inzaghi. As a result, he has been limited to only four starts of 14 Serie A games, prompting the attacking midfielder to seek pastures new away from Inter.
The aforementioned report adds that Frattesi could be interested in a move to Spurs, considering that Premier League football fascinates him even though a move to Serie A rivals Roma may be his priority. If Inter can reach a financial agreement with the North London club, the 25-cap Italy international would be ready to leave the Nerazzurri after just one and a half seasons.

The potential of combining Frattesi’s creativity and work rate with players such as Dominic Solanke, Dejan Kulusevski, James Maddison and Son Heung-min in the final third is an exciting prospect for Tottenham fans.
