The wife of the 24 year-old attacker regularly shares updates on their life off the pitch
Iliman Ndiaye has quickly become a fan favourite at Everton. Signed from Marseille last summer, the 24 year-old has impressed with his hard work, tackling and dribbling into the final third making him an exciting attacking option.
Despite previously struggling to make an impact at Sheffield United, his return to English football has been impressive. The Senegalese international has scored five goals so far this season.
He is likely to start again at home against Tottenham this afternoon under new manager David Moyes. Away from the pitch, Ndiaye is married to Ioana Ndiaye. Ioana regularly posts on her personal Instagram page to 58,000 followers.
Her first post was from June 2022 when she posted a series of pictures of her with Ndiaye and their daughter enjoying a trip to Disneyland Paris. On 20 August 2022, Ioana posted a loving tribute to her husband for their second anniversary.
Earlier that day, Ndiaye had scored two goals for his then side Sheffield United against Blackburn. Ioana showed several polaroid pictures of them together and said: “The most amazing anniversary followed by two incredible goals.
“I’m so proud of the man I’ve watched you become! There’s no one else on this earth I’d rather share my life with. I love you endlessly.”
The couple’s second daughter was born on July 7 2023. Ioana was pictured with her husband when Ndiaye signed his Everton contract.
Their third child was born last month with Ndiaye marking the occasion with a picture of him and his wife holding their newborn’s hand. The 24 year-old said: “Just when we thought our hearts couldn’t get fuller. 10.12.2024.”
The post received over 28,000 likes as Ndiaye was congratulated by Everton’s official Instagram account in the comments along with several of his teammates and hundreds of Everton fans. One said: “Many congratulations.” Another said: “Congratulations to both of you.” A third added: “Love you Iliman, congratulations.”
Meanwhile Ioana appears to be enjoying life on Merseyside. In her most recent Instagram post on December 19 2024, she posted a series of pictures of her family including one of her and her daughter watching an Everton game at Goodison Park.
There were also images of the family enjoying a fairground ride. In the accompanying caption she said: “Loving this little life of ours.”
