Joined Leicester as a youth academy player. A product of the Piast Chęciny, playing for Poland at u18, u19 and u21 level, a total of 3 caps, 1 for each of the teams. 1.94m tall, having a great range as well as being one that can handle challenges on the floor. Watching him play, you can see he has been in the same environment as Kasper Schmeichel and potentially learned from the legendary Leicester goalkeeper.
During his years at Leicester, joining in 2017, he has not been much involved in first team affairs, not before Enzo Maresca last season put great faith in him, giving Stolarczyk his full first team debut On 9 August 2023, Stolarczyk made the most of it in a 2–0 away win against Burton Albion in the first round of the EFL Cup. He made his league debut in the EFL Championship three days later in a 1–0 away win against Huddersfield Town. In March 2024, Stolarczyk played for Leicester in their FA Cup quarter-final away defeat to Chelsea and saved a first half penalty from Raheem Sterling.
He has been a regular number two after Mads Hermansen since returning to the first team, being sidelined with an injury for a number of months, so far 8 league games for Leicester, 6 of them in Premier League action.
Stolarczyk has earlier been loaned out to Dunfirmline in Scotland, playing 11 league games. He has also had loan spells at Fleetwood and Hartlepool.
Exciting development and a potential first team alternative for Leicester if he continues to do well in Premier League, been given a real push by Ruud van Nistelrooy, looking to have great faith in him, being among the best players in the team in the 2-1 away win to Spurs on the 26th of January 2025.
