West Ham plan to turn the Olympic Park into huge fan-zone if we reach the Europa Conference League final next month.
That’s according to the Daily Mail who claim that because of the measly 5,000 ticket allocation that West Ham will receive if we make the showpiece out in Prague, the Hammers are planning to turn the Olympic Park into a large fan-zone for the Europa Conference League final.

David Moyes led his Hammers side to a 2-1 win over AZ Alkmaar at the London Stadium in the first-leg of the semi-final on Thursday night, and we travel out to Holland for the second-leg in five day’s time.
If we do reach the final, we will face either Fiorentina or Basel at the Fortuna Arena in Prague.
West Ham haven’t won a major trophy since 1980 when we beat Arsenal in the FA Cup final, so success in Europe this season – or an appearance in the final at the very least would be a massive achievement.
And it seems as though the owners will try to mark the occasion with something special for the fans…
West Ham have special Olympic Park fan-zone planned if we reach the Europa Conference League final
The Daily Mail claim that the Hammers chiefs are eyeing up the London 2012 venue as a potential host for a fan-zone for the final.
The Olympic Park sits adjacent to the London Stadium, and would accommodate giant screens on the London 2012 warm-up track.
What an occasion that would be. There has been plenty of criticism of fan-zones recently after the Euros and the World Cup out in Qatar, but with so little tickets available to the West Ham fans out in Prague, it will be almost a necessity.
The Hammers fans are craving a trophy – it has been a long 43-year wait. We really do have the best fanbase in the world – there aren’t many other clubs with so little success historically and such a loyal following.
I really believe that Moyes will lead his side out to Prague for the final with a good result against Alkmaar next week.
It’s far from a done deal – Alkmaar are a very decent side and we saw that at the London Stadium on Thursday night. If the West Ham players are at their best though, I really don’t think the Dutch side will be able to live with us.
And whilst many fans will miss out on tickets for the match, the West Ham owners’ plan to turn the Olympic Park into a fan-zone for the Europa Conference League final will be a very good back up option for those who can’t make it out in Prague.
